After 24.5 years, I've been laid off. First time in 35 years I've been unemployed. After a pretty storied and interesting career in healthcare technology, I'm curious what comes next.

No hard feelings, no sad emotions. Other than writing a resume. That part is never fun, but I'll get there.

I like President Musk and VP Trump, just to snub the Tangerine King's ego. But Cunt Musk is a favorite I heard over the weekend.

Morning routine

Tidiness has died. 😂

I was able to meet, share drinks, and even interview Bob Brechin at #JoeFest this year

He was the designer of the UK #StarWars Death Star, the Action Force Roboskull, the GIJoe "Kung Fu Grip" and loads more

Absolute legend in the design and toy industry. Historian, archivist, sweetheart of a human

Was in Augusta Georgia for #JoeFest and had the amazing opportunity to sit with legendary package painter Doug Hart!

He talked gauche, acrylic, air brush, paint overs, package design, and so much more.

Best yet, he befriended my son. Hopefully we'll be able to proper interview soon!

Next time we'll clink cups !

Another HeroesCon finished up and sitting at the airport. Looking tired in the last hour but thanks again to @mroberts.bsky.social for the critical roomie status and James Kaplan for making every evening a joy.
