This heartbreaking incident underscores the reality that no one is immune to the public health crisis of gun violence we face today.

That’s amazing!

Yup! Obviously no one outside of surgery thinks that but there are still some egos within surgery. Honestly, I kinda think they’re jealous of our work-life balance!

Same thing I tell residents!

I was told this all through my surgical training and now I have an extremely rewarding surgical career and all the “proper” surgeons regret their life choices when they’re doing laparotomies in the middle of the night at the age of 60 🤷🏻‍♀️
