Judges should be pretty furious about this. Using a different states Guard units doesn't alter the Courts legal finding that under the statute, the President couldn't call in federal troops or the Guard. Using a different state's Guard doesn't change that finding.

Insane development. From a legal perspective it certainly violates the Judges Order. She found no statutory legal reason to have the Guard activated and deployed. Changing which Guard is deployed certainly doesn't change the statutory analysis. There's no US DOJ lawyer who should defend this.

America has become a nation of self described independent voters. Some are extreme and unreachable. Some are less informed and some are highly informed and consistently lean. Those two groups are reachable. mobilizing 5% as pro democracy voters would change everything.

We need a broad coalition to defend democracy. We need to temporarily set aside settling some disagreements, reach less interested voters and making them interested, convince leaners to change their lean if they want to protect their rights. YOU don't need to change. WE can be principled partners
