I’m reluctant to grant them any such compliment. Can we agree that they have a certain meretricious facility?

In describing the Norths as highly intelligent, you do them a disservice; you foster their sense of martyrdom. Delusional & obsessive would be nearer the mark. You might once have been attracted to the labyrinth of Flexit yourself, but it was based on a fundamental misconception of how the law works

Ghislaine Maxwell, who was responsible for assembling the infamous birthday book, can’t remember how a lewd letter from Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein (whether a forgery or genuine) came to be included in it.

The realisation of how pointless & damaging it is to engage with contrarians whose main mode of debate is whataboutery or those who deploy insult in place of argument is what’s prompted us to seek refuge in this place. It’s like turning one’s back on road rage. Sadly, without that it’s a bit quiet.

Several questions:

1) Why is Farage "testifying" in the US about free speech bank home?

2) Why aren't any of our politicians back home laying into him like this?

3) Why does Farage's neck jiggle like that

So on that basis they should have suppressed any demonstrations against President Trump? I gather you’re just as much a fan of free speech as Nigel Farage then! 😂

Farage's £32k all-expense paid trip to America was to 'represent Clacton on the world stage' He said he made the trip to "support a friend who was almost killed and to represent Clacton on the world stage.”

Perhaps we should be asking whether this modern day Lord Haw Haw’s latest trip to America to slag off his own country was also funded by the British taxpayer.

Here’s a more hopeful picture of the country that Nigel Farage has been denouncing to lawmakers in the United States.

At last someone in Labour who’s prepared to call out Farage for the ignorant divisive grifter that he really is.

Indeed. Though the Court’s finding that the UK’s decision to leave the EU was actually made by Prime Minister Theresa May (albeit that Parliament implicitly authorised her to make that decision) was something of a surprise.

Who reads the Spectator? Fraser Nelson rehabilitated bigotry within the establishment and portrayed it as rebelliousness.

Israeli settler accused of shooting Palestinian involved in Oscar-winning West Bank film dead - BBC News Odeh Hathaleen, who was killed, helped film the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land.

Why do the Western media always refer to people who attack Palestinian homes and villages in the West Bank and kill their occupants as “settlers”, and not as “invaders”, “bandits” or “terrorists”?

I’ve heard it said that Dominic Cummings is like Machiavelli, but without the insight, charm and wit.

Why are these people always referred to as “settlers”, as opposed to “squatters”, “bandits” or “invaders”?

Once again, if you are pointing to a mob and arguing that their violence is a justification for doing what you want, it’s your mob and your violence.

Looking forward to USSC applying Amy Coney Barrett’s originalist methodology to the Second Amendment. If US courts may only grant remedies in existence when they were granted jurisdiction in equity in 1789, the right to bear arms should only apply to the muzzle loaded weapons in existence in 1791.

Johnson had an electoral mandate for Brexit. That’s how democracy works. It doesn’t mean that those who didn’t vote for the winning Party are not being treated as people. And what’s with the “FU”? Go back to X if you want to speak to people like that.

The referendum result was endorsed by Boris Johnson’s General Election victory. There is no doubt that the country chose Brexit.

I doubt that all the blame lies on Starmer’s side. I am not into the detail of all this but it seems to me that the EU has been pretty obstructive too.
