Big research on why Skipping is not an Olympic sport, why it is so efficient (does one leg get a rest while the other does 2 steps?) and why grown adults don't skip more into town or to get a bus! We also concluded it is impossible to be sad while skipping!

Loving this sun. July has seen the solar panels producing a record £11.73 income per day. In the last year we have used electricity at the average rate of -£8.99 a day! Yes, that really is a minus! We're getting paid to run the house & that includes the new EV. PS yes, I do have a spreadsheet! ☺️

Watched some Glasto bands and realised I am old. Or maybe I just prefer the real bands that can sing and entertain. Snow Patrol were fab and probably my fave, Raye was also top of my list. Who else should I watch on catch up?

If you are interested, I have a spreadsheet. It monitors our electricity use, analyses how much comes from solar, savings on a solar water heater & not buying fuel for an e-car. Yes, I may need to get out more, but, since Aug'24 our property has cost us the equivalent of £9 a month for electricity.
