We look forward to sharing more about our special fifteenth anniversary programming; new written, audio, and video offerings; and more about our future direction in January.

2026 is our fifteenth anniversary, and with these changes, it’s the start of the next era for HowlRound. But don’t worry: Our core programs and values will remain the same.

They will continue to work alongside team members Vijay Mathew, Ashley Malafronte, Munroe Shearer, Thea Rodgers, and Yaşam Gülseven.

And that’s not all: This transition brings with it an evolution in leadership, as co-founder and director Jamie Gahlon steps into an advisory role and current HowlRound staff Ramona Rose King and Julia Schachnik become HowlRound’s new co-directors!

We’ve got some exciting news to share! Beginning in January 2026, HowlRound will be fiscally sponsored by Producer Hub, a New York-based nonprofit organization and connective space for independent producers, artists, and other arts workers creating live performance. #theatre #theater
