I found a mistake in the article. MOHELA was set up by the Missouri State legislature and the lawsuit was brought by the state of Missouri, not Nebraska. It's the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority.

It’s extra important for your GOP senator to hear from you right now if you’re in one of these states.

Call your senators and tell them to vote NO on Kash Patel’s nomination for FBI director: indivisible.org/resource/cal...

Or send an email to your senators: act.indivisible.org/sign/demand-...

RFK 's plan to make America healthy again? Round up people with mental health conditions in camps Kennedy wants to replace standard psychological care with unpaid labor on "wellness farms"

RFK's not-so-veiled threat to take mental health drugs away is even worse than it looks at first blush.

He wants to replace these medications with labor camps.

This fits with the larger, eugenics-informed Trump/Musk agenda.

I skimmed this list a few days ago but I didn't see that the word "female" was included. This will make it even harder to get funding for research into women's health issues. And "barrier"? What if someone wanted to study a drug crossing the blood-brain barrier? This is crazy.

So is Elon Musk just doing a coup and the media and Congress is just ignoring it?

In 2025 (less than 30 days away), PayPal will start selling your transaction history for targeted advertising.

I very highly recommend logging into your account and going to Settings > Data & Privacy > Personalized Shopping.

If you're reading this, turn that off RIGHT NOW before you forget.

The secret to goat ownership if you're not a farm person is to have pygmy goats. They're small, they're friendly little bundles of chaos, and they can be housebroken. My grandparents used to have five dogs and two pygmy goats in their house and they were fantastic.

Also, calling a 10 person meeting when the issue could be resolved by sending one person an email. I am very annoyed with my coworkers today, if that isn't obvious.

Something that annoys me more than it should: when someone sends a company-wide email wishing everyone a happy holiday and then everyone replies all. I do not need 50 Happy Thanksgiving emails, thank you very much.

5 writers of whom I've read 5+ books

Kurt Vonnegut
Joe Abercrombie
Brandon Sanderson
Steven King
Tad Williams

A bonus five: Jason Pargin, Paul Tremblay, Robert Jordan, Margaret Atwood, Lucy Maude Montgomery

Obviously, I like long fantasy series and horror novels.

Also, some women over 50 can still get pregnant. The average age menopause starts is 51, so it will start later for some women. My great grandma had her last child in her mid-late 50s. You can still ovulate even after you stop having periods.

Of misogyny, Musk, and men Women are not okay. We're furious.

The Trump campaign knew that men were his ticket back to power, and it targeted themβ€”pointedly young men, and men of colorβ€”with a sophisticated campaign of grievance and disinformation.

And in that, they were massively aided by the manosphere and its billionaire mascot: Elon Musk.
