Now that ANTONBLAST has fully wrapped, we’ve decided to release a VM branch of the game. What this means is: YES, you can mod the game! (at the code level!)

All you need to do is install the vm_public branch on Steam.

And all of the games they claim are "7/10" are on the cusp of the 80s on Metacritic. Literally ALL of them, even Mario Tennis span from 77-79. Even Kirby Air Riders, a universally beloved game with a 8.7 user score, is catching strays from this.

Can we talk about how fucking ridiculous this is getting...

7/10 games are not bad, they're not even mid, they're good. I thought we were moving past this mindset last year. Or also taking reviewer scores seriously. This is not even just grifter channels doing this but also Nintendo fans.

Decided to go back and rework that old Mario Kart roster I drew a year back before Mario Kart World got announced.

Obviously still more of a dream roster than a prediction (if the RPG characters didn't make that obvious), but eh I can dream.

Now this has me excited

that one part of the mario fanbase that seems hardcoded to always see the RPG take on a thing as the worse one if any non-RPG Mario game has ever tackled it, and it's hard to tell if they're doing to to troll RPG fans or they genuinely believe the RPGs do every given thing worse than other games.

Bowser's Inside Story has always been toted as the best Mario and Luigi game, right up there with Superstar Saga. It's been a long time since I've played the OG 3 M&L games, and I can wholeheartedly agree that the sentiment holds true. Bowser is so satisfying to play as, and the Bros are no slouch either. BIS is so much faster paced than it predecessors, but not in a way that detracts from the experience. Fawful and Midbus are such great antagonists, and the finale is just pure perfection. I love this game and always have, so replaying it was such a treat. This is probably the last M&L game I'll play for now, three back to back is a lot, and the idea of replaying Dream Team, Paper Jam and Brothership is a bit more than I want to handle right now, especially with other games I want to play coming out. Unsure if I'll draw something for the 3DS M&L games, but I do have an outline for Brothership drawn, and I'll likely finish that one. I love this series and am so happy I replayed these games!
