Sweet!!
19.04.2025 17:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Crashtest is now published in the Apple Store! πͺ
apps.apple.com/ca/app/crash...
Iβm making crashtest.app available in the Microsoft and Apple App Stores to make it more accessible to more people.
An exe installer, DMG file, AppImage, .deb, Flatpak and even Homebrew are already available.
You should be able to get Crashtest the most convenient way you prefer, no time wasted.
Amazing! πͺπ
18.04.2025 13:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Just shipped crashtest.app v.0.0.9

Am I doing it right?
Let's go!
Bug mysteriously squashes itself.
Ok, it's time to step away from the computer.
Man that's such a raw deal, sorry to hear.
I'm sure you'll go on to do some amazing things without 'em. Love that domain name too!
Someone just sent me a PR for a bug fix on crashtest.app
Itβs a first and a big milestone for me, that someone would like the app and spend their valuable time sending a bug fix with before/after video capture and all is just amazing and hugely validating!ππ
LLMs can be great for some stuff, even "one-shotting" certain things - landing pages for example, they can do pretty well at now!
... automating a multi platform CI pipeline with code signing, ehhh not so much. π€£
I'm no wizard but I think it's sweet! Low barrier to entry and official docs are pretty good. I've never made a desktop app before, it's my first foray into anything like this so was expecting it to be waaay more difficult. They've made building a cross platform app ridiculously accessible!
05.04.2025 05:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0βYou can just do stuffβ? I guess so.
I made crashtest.app getting carried away just out of plain curiosity, it is inspired heavily by @yaak.app but rather than
@tauri.app I went with wails.io.
Not exactly βreadyβ as of yet but I am now excited to build it up! πͺπ€·
I added WHOIS functionality to ip.now
You can now do `curl ip.now/1.1.1.1` or `curl ip.now/google.com` to quickly get information about any IP or domain πͺ
I threw together ip.now idk if that counts lol
Today I had to scratch another itch and ended up with a Worker that takes data from a google sheet, sends it to Cloudflareβs AI inference and then sends the output to a Telegram channel. Surprisingly easy to put together. Havenβt shared it yet though.
I love this!
15.11.2024 22:41 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve been giving it a go too, itβs pretty nice. Similar feelings as you noted. Still mainly on Brave though.
10.11.2024 16:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Awesome, thank you! πͺπ
05.11.2024 01:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is a different use case than a bookmark manager right? Or would you use one that ticks the right boxes?
05.11.2024 01:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thereβs just something about the terminal tho isnβt there

31.10.2024 01:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So this thing is all open source eh thatβs pretty cool. Has anyone made their own bsky apps?
31.10.2024 01:05 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0After getting some feedback I've made more detailed JSON output available:
β
At the terminal using curl ip.now/details
β
JSON directly in the browser at ip.now/details
β
Prettified JSON with copy to clipboard on the website by clicking the bottom left info button
Let me know how you like it? π
myip.fail is now ip.now π
27.10.2024 23:37 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Wow! 200+ unique visitors to myip.fail in just a couple days and 6m visit duration!? Iβm blown away.
Plausible makes tracking this with no Google fun and easy.
Whatβs next? Keep it simple and move on, or add more functionality?
What's your favorite tool for making it easy for users to provide feedback / send feature requests?
27.10.2024 01:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The main use case for this is to quickly verify what your public IP address is, the need for that can arise in many different situations but it's just nice to be able to instantly grab it with a short curl command.
But should it have additional features too? If so, what would you like to see? lmk!
I can has the monies now?
25.10.2024 13:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Twitter peeps keep talkin about this thing. What's goin on?
I been tinkering on myip.fail - my excuse to learn about Cloudflare Workers.
Just added provider info including company and ASN, location details, and device info (browser, OS).
Can also do:
curl myip.fail
π
These past few days as I started tinkering with CF Workers for the first time on myip.fail. Totally different vibe from what I was used to in Laravel/Livewire land, but also super cool!
It's such a tiny thing though, to get my feet wet. Probably still would reach for Tailwind on something bigger.
This feels very... familiar. Heh!
