one of the big things i've been doing since taking time to myself is getting fit. i gym 5 times a week and now do more stuff like this.
been going really well, lost a lot of weight and feel way more comfortable with myself.

xenoblade x upgrade is quite good! was holding off on my playthrough until it came out, so i'm charging through it now.
there's a very distracting shimmering effect on the player models though, which i suspect is a result of DLSS/something similar. unfortunate blemish on an otherwise great upgrade.

One of my first artsy pieces of games writing was about Bluepoint's Shadow of the Colossus remake, a game that felt in conversation with its origin. This is a senseless loss.

i'll talk more about it in the future but i should probably stress that if i ever return to events or even the community as a whole it'll be in an anonymous, out of the way position. frankly, i don't want to engage with a good few people in it right now. does take away from enjoying the game a lot.
