Watched “Shutter Island” last night and for the first time, I fully understood the plot and foreshadowing techniques. It’s such a good psychological thriller with such a neatly tied up and thoughtful ending. It’s rare you get that from thriller movies nowadays.

It never gets old.

But there's actually a lot to appreciate about the movie.

I conquered a childhood fear today. "The Wiz". Not so scary movie after all. Although I'm still not a fan of those graffiti kids popping out of the wall like that lol

I love coming across small instances where a light is shone on a perspective that's not often tapped into. This poem is one of those instances.

I only took one course with Mark Mirsky, but it was a unique and memorable experience to say the least. He definitely made a mark on this world while he was here. May he RIP 🙏🏾
