No surprise. Republicans will run candidates in upcoming elections. Just because Democrats won big this year doesn’t mean we’ll win next time. Keep working

17.11.2025 01:14 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0So true. Virginia votes every year, but for different offices and political environments. @chaznuttycombe.bsky.social seems to have sorted this out better than the others.

09.11.2025 21:53 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Virginians I canvass vote for candidates of different races, ethnicities, and religions other than their own. We get the best candidates as a result.
09.11.2025 19:33 — 👍 19 🔁 4 💬 1 📌 0This campaign had the best coordination I’ve seen at the top and with the delegate candidates. I always canvassed for the entire ticket.

06.11.2025 18:54 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Depending on how far back you go, good idea to consider air quotes around “Democrats“
06.11.2025 00:50 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0After big election win, party in power thinks it was total endorsement of world view
Dems thought it after 2020
GOP thought it after 2024
Reality is Americans have lot of different views
Many voters lend support temporarily
Good for both parties to keep that in mind
A Spanish speaking voter I canvassed was impressed by Spanberger’s Spanish language ad. Said she did it well.

24.01.2025 12:51 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I’m thinking the campaign in the special was more focused on high propensity Democrats than the 11/5 general, knowing the turnout would be smaller. So fun to compare 11/5 with 1/7, but that’s about it. Of course, we needed cold weather canvassers to make it work for 1/7/25!
