It’s the exact same thing in MO. The powers that be completely neglect the party’s base in the big city and disingenuously pander to rural voters.

Don’t give up hope that we can take back the places we love. If we can take the party back then hopefully we can replace the grifters that led us astray.

I had a very similar experience working with the party in MO. It's why I want to bash my head into a brick wall when pundits want to blame trans people or other made-up culprits for the party's slide. Incompetence and grift are what got us into this mess.

Interesting to hear the party had that mindset and then consider what's happened to the Dem party in Ohio and other formerly purple states since. Maybe prioritizing money above all else wasn't the best choice!
