THEOPHANY (noun) – from Ancient Greek meaning “appearance of God”; the appearance of a deity to a human or other being, or to a divine disclosure.

Pulled the rest of our beets and carrots out of the garden this last weekend. Everything looked good except for this freak of nature. It had 12 ends. Must have been the energy from the auroras we had. #gardening

The forecasting was for us in Colorado to just barely see a glow of Northern Lights just a few degrees above our northern horizon on Tuesday night with a better chance on Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

Boy was that prediction wrong.

Can't wait to see what happens tonight. #aurora

Touching down on the airport runway. 4/4

Just before this hot air balloon landed on the runway at the airport across the road from us, I got pictures of it with our moon beside and then above it. 3/4

Don't know who the three are in the basket, but this must have been a cold ride this morning in a hot air balloon over Delta. I was able to catch the lady wave and looked my way. 2/4

Out this morning doing chores when I see a hot air balloon coming up over Delta. By the time I got chores done, it was almost over our house. 1/4

HETEROCLITE (noun) – a person or thing that deviates from the ordinary rule or form.

Tonight's full moon. First image is an over exposure to show the clouds around it. Second image is a correct exposure and shows a thin cloud passing across the moon. Because of when the autumnal equinox took place, this is the Hunter's Moon and not usual Beaver Moon.
