real life people will almost always react to a stressful situation with what limited information they do have, sometimes it isn’t the “right” response but it’s all they can do. this applies to fictional characters too… i don’t know why so many people want characters to always make the right choice

same with kpop demon hunters when (spoilers lol) mira & zoey hesitantly raised their weapons at rumi, i saw people get upset about that? but the thing is while kpdh follows mostly rumi’s pov, mira and zoey have no clue what is going on & just found out rumi’s been lying to them all this time lmao!!!

a lot of this is because of people not paying attention too; i.e with sinners i saw some people go “why did grace let bo chow go outside to where the vampies were” and im like idk man probably because nobody in the juke joint knew they were in a vampire movie until annie threw garlic onto stack!! 😭

mini rant incoming i guess? but something i dislike about online discussion with media is audience members automatically assuming that the characters in a story have the information the audience has
