POTA Award 1000 hunted Parks.
In January I discovered the #POTA program as hunter, quickly catching the Parks activator bug, despite limited free time. 8 months later I've reached the milestone of 1000 parks. Greatest satisfaction comes from outdoor activity/ QRP power/portable antennas, often resulting in surprising QSOs.

40 CW contacts, mostly on 20 meters, and 5 park to park QSO. Running QRP 5 Watt, RS-918 transceiver and PAC12 vertical antenna. Sunny day, blue sky, 28°C.

It was my dream when I was young, but then I chose the FT757GX as my first rig. I recently found a used one to restore, all those relays to replace (a nightmare!), bulbs replaced with LEDs, capacitors replaced, all the optional filters, and it works great!
