I think for the emotion I was going for(kind of a random dread) realistically bigger pupils make more sense but thin pupils have kinda become shorthand for negative emotions so those feel more right. Also both can be right, just for slightly different emotions

Working on a yarn tail is a close second but when making the tufts I have to count which is not good for this. The brushing/straightening and sewing steps do work tho. I guess other parts of the cloak aren’t as good for this so maybe they’re tied

And podcasts are perfect for sewing cloaks. Watching a video will take my eyes off the cloak and doing nothing will get me too bored. They’re perfect for each other.

Hand sewing cloaks is the perfect activity for listening to narrative podcasts. Most other activities require too much focus or thinking but doing absolutely nothing while listening makes my mind wander. Sewing long straight lines is the perfect amount of being preoccupied.

My guess would be more people fantasize about being in a cool alien/fantasy world than being a cool alien/fantasy creature. Which is weird to me. Being a dragon sounds so much cooler than killing or commanding one

When I’ve imagined Grian as a cadran(I imagine most people/characters as my original species) I’ve flip flopped between red fur, tan accents and tan fur, red accents so I thought I’d get it down visually to sort it out. Now I’m just as undecided but now I’m imagining this old base.

Makes sense when you think about how laws made to help the environment are struck down so oil companies don’t lose money and laws to help animals are struck down by animal agriculture. Money talks and influences legislation.
