I caught up with some mending today: a new mend on one of my favorite tops. I love this lightweight linen fabric that Ann Taylor Loft used for a while, but it’s prone to holes.

Finally caught up on my mending! In addition to darning these socks, i fixed small holes in a top, sweatpants, and a hand-knitted sock.

i have a faculty interview in 10 days and i’m wondering how to broach the topic of “how will you support new faculty if research funding disappears?” like…how does one navigate career decisions at a time like this?!?

I really want a Turkish spindle, but I love my Schacht 2.5” spindle. You can use it as top or bottom whorl but i’ve only used it as top whorl so far.
