I'm not a super heavy user of social media, so that happens to me naturally. We'll be two terrible people chatting terribly to each other on BlueSky. 😘

To be fair, I really probably should just allow my work to be used/implemented more, rather than hold things up chasing perfection.

Also: doubting you’re a terrible person.

I know there can be something super satisfying about seeing terrible fictional people get a comeuppance. 😆

Okay, it’s decided. I will do a rewatch this spooky season.

And then you find yourself deep in technical debt saying, “is this actually good?”

I suppose I found it harder to invest in the characters since they were all kinda terrible people.

But you're making me think I could enjoy giving it a second chance! Because it occurs to me that my feelings might not have been fair.

Mainly, it seemed like the characters had less... "heart" than I expected. And this is where I think it might be me that's wrong: I was primed to expect something more like the "Haunting" shows or "Midnight Mass." "Usher" felt a lot darker and more gruesome by comparison.

It was good! I think the things I didn’t like about “The Fall of the House of Usher” is more down to my particular taste than anything more objective. “The Haunting of Bly Manor” remains my fav of his shows.

Magneto—as seen in X-Men ‘97—has donned a form-fitting wine-colored body suit emblazoned with an oversized “M” that stretches toward his crotch. Matching evening gloves elevate the ensemble with a touch of formality. A violet cape with a cowl neck completes the look.

It’s tragic that Michael Fassbender never sported the skin-tight wine-dark body suit and matching evening gloves. We had a chance and Hollywood blew it.

About X-Men ‘97 : was Magneto always this fabulous?! Ian McKellen could’ve rocked this look.

Right! I ended up putting some things in storage at my parents’ place (thankfully they were willing) for a bit because I know I’m not settled at the moment. But I hang on to a lot. And I hurt my back a little every time I move the library.  😭

Roughly my dream… but moving with books is awful, so I limit myself because I have to jump between apartments every few years.

I went to my first gay club over the weekend. And it was wonderful! Sure, I was overwhelmed a bit by the noise, the crowd, the go-go boys. But I was also at home. I felt/feel like I’d taken another step toward finding a place among my people.

Yikes. Do wedding ceremonies still keep an objection opportunity in the script? Surely we can move past that…

I was at an event last night themed “hanky code,” where a guy said, “how do I flag things like ‘make me feel safe,’ ‘just spend some time together,’ and ‘be open to my emotional vulnerability?’” Relatable.

I had a lot of fun meeting and hanging out! 😊
