omg my dad had one too. I deliberately bought myself a red dimmable LED alarm clock bc they're less harsh on my eyes. I found one I can set to 24hr time too which made me happy bc there's certain times of the year where "07:00" looks the same AM and PM 😅

every time I see people whining about the internet and single points of failure and “remember when” I laugh and LAUGH. folks. did you know that at one point sufficient rain in northern Virginia could take half the internet down? the infrastructure is way more robust and resilient than it used to be.

I both 100% agree but at the same time loved every second anyway. Any other shonen I find I'd get tired of it but Demon Slayer manages to keep me hooked and excited the whole time.

I have the most head splitting migraine today and it’s like every coworker surrounding me is actively choosing to be as loud as humanly possible. I generally like working at my office but no one here has any concept of “indoor voice” and it drives me insane.

My family calls it "splork" and we generally prefer it to the homemade stuff haha. Not that we didn't also love my mom-mom's homemade stuff too!

They’re both mascots from Niigata Prefecture. Leruhi-san represents the Joestu region, famous for its snowy winters and ski resorts, and Sasadangon represents Niigata City.

Leruhi-san and Sasadangon lounge together on some comfy chairs. Leruhi-san flashes a V-sign and has his arms around Sasadangon’s shoulders. Sasadangon probably wants to go home and relax because he is lazy but that’s OK.

Sasadangon and Leruhi-san collapsed in the snow at (presumably) the Tokamachi Snow Festival. Between them on a curtain behind them is the Japanese character for love, 愛.

I miss both Leruhi-san and Sasadangon. I wish they were on Bluesky. They’re a bunch of goofballs and 100% the best mascots in Japan. (And yes it’s OK to ship them lmao just look at them)
