Sorry about the retweet spam. Since my output has been sluggish recently I decided to retweet some older stuff I like and got a little carried away.

I was practicing lineart with this mage woman drawing. My best results have been from zooming way in and building thickness with several passes. It isn't fast or easy, but it's closer to the result I want than anything else I've tried.

I was not happy with the snakeyness of my snake men, so I did what I should have done from the start and looked at some references of real snakes (mostly bush vipers). I now feel I have a much better grasp of snakes, especially their faces. This is what me learning looks like.
