The Diamond OAJ ournal @phimisci.bsky.social received metrics for the first time. Sure metrics are not the whole story, but its amazing to see them directly behind Philosophy of Science, and ahead of Phenomenology and the Cognitive Science SJR Value! Lets keep pushing OA Philosophy!

Isn't the most likely view neither of those two? Random walk just sounds implausible, because values connect to various processes (cooperation, war, trade, etc.) in ways that plausibly make value-change non-random, but also not necessarily arc-like

Je serais content d'avoir des statistiques aussi! Ne serait-ce que par curiosité. Je ne serais pas étonné que le taux soit assez faible (20% peut-être?). Je ne nie pas les corrélations (dont j'ignore l'ampleur exacte), juste l'idée que le parcours en prépa soit considéré en tant que tel...

Agrégé non, ou alors dans un sens très élargi de "signifie"! Normalien oui, mais c'est le statut de normalien le facteur important (quoique je pense vraiment qu'il est moins important que les autres), pas la prépa en tant que telle

En philo mon impression c'est que pour être recruté MCF les comités regardent qui est agrégé, qui a quelles publis, éventuellement qui est normalien, mais pas qui a fait une prépa. Ca peut arriver, hein, mais je n'ai jamais entendu la prépa mentionnée dans une conversation portant sur un recrutement

En même temps, tu sais que ton opinion est impopulaire, donc tu ne dois pas être surprise que beaucoup soient en désaccord (relatif) avec toi :)

Je trouve que prépa et fac telles que je les ai connues sont deux environnements très sous-optimaux, mais de manière presque incommensurables. Au final j'ai une petite préférence pour la prépa, parce que dans mon souvenir...

Thanks! It's just that a name for the style might be helpful (though not necessary) to convince an academic publisher that's it's legit and thus appropriate for a future monography of mine... If anyone has a clue!

Thanks for the input, and for suggesting OSCOLA, which I did not know! But I think it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

My point is just that, for publications (like books and articles), OSCOLA does not ask for a footnote including only Name Date. It asks for more than that (see p. 5 of the guide you linked to). I'm looking for a citation style which works with footnotes only AND Author Date, for all publications.

After a quick search, it seems that OSCOLA only does Name Date for cases, not for pubs? I'm talking about something like the APA style but with all citations are in footnotes instead of being in the text. Akaik standard APA authorizes citations in footnotes but that is not supposed to be the norm

If anyone knows how this citation style is called, please let me know! I've been searching for this, without success

There is a citation style that I am increasingly seeing in publications. It consists in putting all references in footnotes in the Author Date format, with a reference list at the end of the document. I like it a lot, it allows for smooth reading without sacrifing references. How is it called?
