Saddened to hear Bela Novak has died
Pioneering and influential systems/quant biologist. Changed how we think about the cell cycle (amongst other things).

Still hard to believe but Béla Novák died suddenly on Saturday.
We've lost a fantastic colleague, mentor & great friend to many. There was really no-one else like him. Working with him was so much fun & I owe him a lot. All my thoughts are with his family.

It was fantastic to be at the Royal Society yesterday for the UK Young Academy second members meeting! Great to see old faces and meet the new members. Really exciting time as new projects begin and we mature as an academy!
