Yesterday I completed my year 1 placement with Leeds EP team. What an interesting and diverse city to work in… I ended my last day delivering twilight training in a fantastic school 👏🏼 #edpsych

Love this ! Mine would be delivering or co delivering training on something I am passionate about and dynamic assessment with a child 🧩 lots of being with people ❤️ #edpsychs

Half term is here and whilst year 1 feels so close to completion still lots of written work for my placement portfolio to be done highlights this week are:

After a lovely week off for my birthday, back to it this week to finish off half of my year 1 portfolio before a weekend at the coast 🌊 A beautiful desk reminder from my lovely friends to keep me going… find it so hard to switch off from this doctorate but I am determined to this weekend ✨#edpsychs

What Iv learn this week is the amazing support I have around me on this doctorate, from my tutors, fellow trainees and other assistants I connect with such a supportive and non judgemental environment…a real glimmer moment was being told in supervision I am thinking and talking like an EP❤️#edpsychs

Came across @drnaomifisher.bsky.social book which has really helped me with one of my year 1 cases - thank you 👏🏼. My take away are focusing on how the child experiences the world, meeting them where they are at & what needs to change in their environment #edpsychs

This is so helpful I seen a TA work beautifully with a little person today who’s response is no to a lot of things - giving them space and autonomy to do it in there own time defo worked well

Loving the learning Keith ! Finding the transition from an assistants to trainee tricky placement wise just trying to sit in the messy and unknown alway second guessing myself but loving the course so much ! Hope qualified life is going well looks like your smashing it
