One of my favorite patterns for Summer Smallmouth Bass is Kent Edmonds Stealth Bomber. I think they believe its a dragon fly or maybe it’s just the action of the rubber legs that they can’t resist
We are lucky here in Kentucky to have several streams & rivers that produce 16”-20” Smallmouth Bass.

Great Pattern

Pre-Spawn Female Bass from a few yrs ago. This was an early April day when local creeks were blown out. The fly that I tied was a modified Bass Bully fly. I had added a Dragon Tail instead of the normal Rabbit Zonker tail. Quite a fight. My PB Bass on a Fly Rod

I think replacing Biden 4 weeks before the Convention turned a lot of his supporters off. They showed up and voted down ballot because they still knew that was important but felt betrayed by the DNC

South Platte River in Colorado this past summer while on vacation. Caught this Brown Trout on a small PMD Comparadun that I tied.
3 hrs and this was the only fish I caught but I felt really accomplished fishing a new river on my own and landing a fish on my own fly. Great Day

Had a few eats but have yet to land one on a fly rod. I hear its a hoot

Fly Tying helps calm your mind. It’s also very satisfying to catch fish on your own flies.
