I just learned that you can make a compound shape with two shapes that aren't overlapping in Adobe Illustrator, treating them as a single shape. It's meaningless to everyone else but to me... priceless 😔

How I feel any time I learn a new trick in the art tool I use

Daria had said he’d have to wait, just like she had when she requested her weapons. If he hadn’t seen what Cara made Daria, he might not have even thought about coming all the way out here. (5/6)

She had her hair pulled back to keep it away from the flames and sparks. Sweat poured down her skin.
Seeing that she was busy, Fennick sat at one of the chairs placed in front of the entryway, hoping he’d be in full view when the blacksmith took a rest. (4/6)

The forge was at the back of the chamber, and the blacksmith was hammering iron at the anvil to the side.
The blacksmith was on the larger side; her work helped to grow her muscles and gave her an impressive figure. (3/6)

The smithy was big for this rural town, and it wasn’t far from a thatched-roof cottage–the home of the renowned blacksmith, Cara. The smithy was made of stone with large barn doors opened out to where Fennick stood. (2/6)

Fennick could hear the clang of hammer against metal from a ways down the path. As he came closer to the forge, he could feel the heat and smell the soot before he saw the building. (1/6)
