These versions of 3 and 4 are CDr's unfortunately. I honestly can't believe they had to go that route with such great releases.

26.02.2026 21:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0True. Especially now that my Rogue Audio pre-amp makes things not so quiet any longer.. humm, buzz, whiney tubes.. sigh. Vinyl not as quiet as it used to be. Really should replace that piece of otherwise beautifully sounding junk.
26.02.2026 21:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Which three records did you first add to your Discogs collection?
I started adding my collection in 2009

All the reasonable people love Talk Talk. I have the 1986 UK version and that plays perfectly as well. Still don't have the vinyl.. what an album!

Plus it has Civilistjavell! And more!
Worth about a trillionth of that, so kind of semantically close.

My apologies in advance. I'm under viral attack. The output is distorted.

I will stop before we temporarily break Bluesky
26.02.2026 14:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Just read that the artist, Granger, who also did Oxygene, simply showed Jarre some of his already made paintings and Jarre picked that one instantly.
26.02.2026 14:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Lads with binoculars are creepier than birds. What's the underlying idea of that cover? Is it a commentary or just shapes with no meaning?
26.02.2026 14:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Enjoying covid again. Third time is the charm, right?
Open discogs app, go to collection. Shake your phone and see which random release comes up. And post it as a reply here.
I will start... hard core stuff!

Did not fully realise how good this cover art was until I got the vinyl version- after decades with the CD.

Considering how advanced and widely available complex manufacturing has become, it is remarkable that so many modern designs aren't a little more imaginative and daring. Additionally the electronics parts are so small now, that there really aren't any limitations dictating form.

IDM or electronica is really important til me as well.
My heart goes out to all the coin bros who are absolutely not in it to "get rich quick on the backs of others, but hype it as a way forward for society and the communities it supports..".
May it soon be over and RIP
