Considering how advanced and widely available complex manufacturing has become, it is remarkable that so many modern designs aren't a little more imaginative and daring. Additionally the electronics parts are so small now, that there really aren't any limitations dictating form.

These last three are on my crucial techno picks as well. Love when there is either hints of melody or ambient themes.
