Bo Gets His Rose 🌹🏆

The 1981 Rose Bowl was a breakthrough for Michigan & Coach Bo Schembechler. After 7 bowl losses, including 5 in Pasadena, the Wolverines finally delivered their coach a 23-6 win over Washington!

Ex-Michigan linebacker named 'Golden Bachelor' for Season 2 Former Michigan linebacker Mel Owens, a native of Detroit, is the new bachelor in “The Golden Bachelor” show. ABC announced Owens, 66, on Tuesday. Owens played at Michigan from 1977-1980 and finished his career with 125 tackles and three interceptions. He was first team All-Big Ten in 1980. He was the ninth overall selection in the 1981 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. After a nine-year NFL career, Owens retired and became a lawyer. The first season of The Golden Bachelor (2023) was a successful venture for ABC.
