This afternoon Cllr Steve had an Interesting visit to Ashford United Football Club with Cllrs Simon & Heather (Ashford Independents) to see the restorations and the new 3G pitch.

This morning Cllr. Steve & Mandy were invited to The North School to join the Eco Group planting a tree for National Tree Week. Two trees were planted, an ornamental cherry & a birch. They heard about all the great eco activities happening at the school.

Today’s UK Parliament Week visit by Co Chair Mandy was to John Wallis school where she had great sessions with groups of students from years 7, 8, 9 and Parliament Week is a great opportunity for schools and youth groups to engage with how politics work & what politicians do! 💚
