So brilliant to visit the Centre for Advanced Timber Technology at NMITE to meet their new cohort of Sustainable Construction degree students, as well as being able to observe a professional development course that attracts dozens of participants from all over the country!

I'm horrified to hear about the attack this morning at a Manchester synagogue. My thoughts are with all those affected.

The UK must deploy every single lever to end the genocide in Gaza and stop the expansion of Israeli occupation. That includes ending all arms sales and military cooperation, imposing tough sanctions on all responsible for war crimes, and banning imports from illegal settlements.

I welcome the fact that the UK has finally recognised the State of Palestine. This is a long-overdue affirmation of Palestinian dignity after decades of dispossession and suffering. It is one small step towards justice; but the UK can and should do far more.

Without a national target for social housing, we’ll never meet demand.

Targets drive delivery; let’s set one now to ensure we build the houses our communities actually need, not more luxury properties no average person can afford.

One of the lovely protestors I met was Maggie from Bham, who told me she came to London because she has been feeling more and more passionate about wanting to change things and make her voice heard. Amazing to chat to her about the ways we can all inspire each other to fight for change!

I’ve just been at the “Trump Not Welcome” demonstration in London, standing alongside people from across the country to tell the govt that a leader who abuses his office to enrich his family and fan the flames of racism, xenophobia, and misogyny is not welcome in the UK.

So lovely to celebrate 40 years of the Hereford Muheza Link society, a wonderful international link between Hereford and Muheza which sees nurses, doctors and other health workers take part in exchanges between the UK and Tanzania!

Still so many questions about Peter Mandelson's appointment: why wasn't proper forensic questioning done, especially considering he had previously been dismissed from govt jobs for wrongdoing? And why on earth is he still being permitted to hold the Labour whip?

Utterly ridiculous. 12 votes in the Commons tonight means 3 hours of tedious trudging through voting lobbies. What a total waste of time and energy when MPs could do it in 3 minutes with a modern voting system. It’s long past time to drag Parliament into the 21st century.

While the Home Office wastes resources arresting people peacefully opposing genocide, the rise of the far right, fuelled by racist agitators and foreign billionaires whipping up hatred in our communities, continues unchecked.

When will the govt get their priorities in order?

Brilliant to see Leominster absolutely buzzing on Saturday with a huge Food Fayre showcasing fantastic produce from the county and beyond!

Another busy week in Parliament: holding the government to account and pressing for real action on social care reforms and the genocide in Gaza, and challenging dangerous rhetoric around migration.

Clearly, Mandelson should go. The quicker the better.

Starmer should stop hesitating for fear of it looking like an implicit judgement of Trump.
