I finished creating this piece in 2019 after feeling defeated by grief. I had started painting her in 2017 and had to put her down after losing all motivation. I feel like now is the perfect moment to share her again. 💜

The problem with working on a zodiac series of artwork is the conflict between painting them in proper order vs painting them based on the ones you like more. Some of these mockups were definitely more enjoyable than others and I can't decide!

Not art related at all, but I saw Wolfman over the weekend and damn I really liked it. My fave horror films are ones that use suspense and tension over gore and shock factor and this hit the nail on the head. I really loved it as an adaptation alongside Invisible Man for modern monsterverse movies

This is going to sound dorky but honestly playing Pokemon Go gets me walking around WAY more than anything else ever has. It's so fun to play with my husband and we spend our weekends at different parks walking all day, even when we're on trips or out of state!
