I think this is a misunderstanding of what people like about Traveller.

That Traveller announcement is disappointing.

These are my most anticipated mechanics so I will definitely try to do just that. Thanks!

Gonna be doing a Souls-like sort of homebrew for the setting so will try to add the sense of urgency into the players' motive.

Part of what drew me to running it for a bit was:

1. The Doom Die Mechanic
2. The Usage Die
3. Combat Dodge/Parry

Really interested in seeing how that last one works at the table.

Looks like I'm going to be giving The Black Sword hack a try for a few sessions.

For any that have run it any tips?

Played our game last night and after a hard pivot due to encountering one of the BBEGs on a random encounter, the party is now adventuring to the Realm of Fae via Tiny Fables by @josiahmoore.bsky.social.
