I grew up with 313s in the Watford area, by that time in Network SouthEast livery and then Silverlink Metro. Also remember ones being hired in from WAGN on a couple of occasions

Surprised these have taken so long to be sold after the 15H was withdrawn
Two of these five (RM2060/2089) were among the handful refurbished with more original interior features ~10 years ago, while the others are still as modernised in the early 2000s
At least ten former SWR Class 455s are currently at Alstomβs Derby facility, having arrived from Wimbledon by rail. They are then being moved by road to the Wards scrapyard at Ilkeston and I was lucky to see some vehicles from 5719 being roaded away during my visit today

Is it just me who feels the original front was a lot neater than the production versions?
Of course moving the radiator most likely helped make the type a success, and at least the final design was an improvement over the later prototypes with a grille added onto this version (or similar)
