How it started:

The 2025 agreement between the BC Greens & the BC NDP includes $30 million to build housing like ‘The Village’ in Duncan.

These Villages provide wraparound services as well as shelter, reducing homelessness.

Instead of continuing to funnel public money into LNG, the Province should invest in economic pathways that support long-term sustainability, public health, and community well-being.

My thoughts are with Minister Bowinn Ma, her family, and her constituency staff, after a serious incident at her office.

Everyone deserves to be safe at work, including all MLAs and constituency staff.

We want our very best to serve this province, and we must keep them safe while they serve.

The report is now out, released yesterday.

It’s time to address the systemic barriers that continue to cause harm to survivors of gender-based violence, and implement the report’s 21 recommendations.

Last week the BC NDP granted the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission (PRGT) fracked gas pipeline its request for a substantial start decision.

This is a betrayal of environmental stewardship, Indigenous rights, and a threat to sustained climate action in this province.
