For example if I want some bricks to start with different health they will load in with the brick texture already cracking. I'd prefer the bricks to have a a different texture and layers. Perhaps another array would do it? I don't know.

Cyber Potato uses an Array to load in a different texture after getting hit for the brick "health" which is pretty neat. My issue with this method is that I think I am limited to the textures I can use.

I hit a wall on my ventures of #Godot for a brick breaker game. Cyber Potato on Youtube has a resourceful tutorial on how they went about a brick breaker game. www.youtube.com/@CyberPotato... I wanted to give my bricks health to create different stages after being hit and I couldn't figure it out.
