The Tron Ares soundtrack is really perfect for the gritty and dark vibes of the movie. Like it's more centered on Dillinger's programs and the family's more cutthroat nature while having hints of light and optimistic tracks when dealing with Encom/Flynn. Heavy dark synth vibes really work well.

This movie also reminded me that I need to dig myself out of the weird corner of the internet I'm in right now where everyone is calling stuff shit and like kinda just taking the joy out of anything new coming out. I think it's valid to have criticisms of any media but god damn it gets suffocating

Saw Tron Ares and it was a fun movie. It reminded me of how on the nose the movies are, I enjoyed the story but at the same time it did take a backseat to the spectacle. Nine Inch Nails did a decent job with the soundtrack, I think most of it is pretty well done for the movie. 6/10 worth seeing once

Love is Blind reminds of how bad it can be to rush relationships, and how messy people get when the stakes are just dialed up and they aren't given a lot of time to make certain choices. These people either become diamonds or get sent packing to harden up.

Had an unranked sesh last night with a Marth while I was playing Falcon. Eventually I swapped to Luigi and he swapped to Ganon. I then swapped to YL and he swapped to Doc. The beauty of just having fun with a game and not just engaging with someone to boost your own ego is something I'll always love

Finale was ok, it was basically a cliffhanger builder but there was at least some pay off with confrontations finally happening between some characters. Idk if it's greenlighted for a season 2 but god damn I don't want another season where it's just setup for almost nothing at the end.

Alien Earth finale tonight, hoping they don't disappoint me and that series gets another season. They've introduced so many new things that would be dope to explore in the universe, it'd feel like a waste if they just have small payoffs in the finale.
