I have to wear heels for medical reasons (cerebral palsy has had me on my toes since before I could walk) and there are days when I wish I could just get some cute flats and not worry about it so yeah, give and take 💜

I think it's because I took my sunglasses off? Josie struck up a conversation with the table next to us and they were impressed by Josie's many and varied sunglasses so I whipped my red glasses on for a cheap pop and I feel better?

Good news, I have listened to my 18th and final crow as of this morning and I am caught up, although there are a couple assorted other corvids in my crow folder that I may go through before I'm done

I will say there were a bunch of bands where I was like "surely this will land me a good one" and either they weren't quite on twelve yet or the roulette wheel came up with something that ranged from "dud" to "I like it but it's not an outright classic"

Springsteen's the Rising is pretty great although it took me a bit to come around on it
As long as you count Pin-Ups, Low comes in as Bowie's 12th and hell yeah
Brave New World is Iron Maiden's 12th, works for me
Queen's 12th is A Kind of Magic and okay I'm done scrolling my music folder

A couple weeks passed, but finally he showed up last week... late in the day and with no tapes. Well shoot, maybe next time.

This week, on time, still no tapes!

I learned his name and I wish I hadn't because now it feels weirdly person like gosh darn it buddy where are my tapes?! 😾

I got excited because there were like four or five more tapes in the bag I wanted but I played it cool because I didn't want to spend too much and I didn't know if he was selling good tapes

Went home and tested the tapes, played great and I was up and at em next week to browse his wares... no guy.

About a month and change back we were really late to the market and got there just as an older dude was setting up boxes of books and records

Josie found a few LPs and I lit on a bag of tapes he brought. Bounty in hand, we paid him and he said he'd be bright and early next week

Turns out my part time job that historically has a difficult to get paid from client is back on its thing. $700 that ia up in the air for the foreseeable future. So I am doing the thing.
