Yes, I can cook. Finished second in a chili cook-off at work.

Competed in a chili cook-off at work today. Finished second by one point, to a "chili" made of chicken, corn, and spinach. It wasn't even spicy.

Recovered from my first comp of the year, back in the gym today(basement) for some kettlebell presses and swings.

Day 1 as a long term sub as I work my way back to the profession. Never taught language arts before, this should be fun.

Started off the 2925 highland games. Decided it would be better to throw with my friends in the A class as opposed to the masters, and I took 5th. Had some good throws and feel good about the year to come.
