Luka has various friends and acquaintances in the other guilds as well, as he dabbled in everything in his attempt to learn where he belongs, but not as strongly as the first two guilds. However, he refuses to choose a Grand Company, disliking 'military' functions. He often helps out though.

Mother Miounne holds a close place in Luka's heart specifically. She was like a pseudo mother to him growing up and he often returns to visit her and bring her souvenirs from his travels, regaling her with stories. He also has very close ties to the people of the Botanist's guild!

Luka started in Gridania! His lore is that he grew up in an orphanage there after his clan from Gyr Abania was killed by Garleans. He was raised surrounded by the bigotry and knew it keenly especially in the Archer's guild, but he formed close friendships with the other 'outcasts' there.
