An odd thing is that Pope Leo is a ‘traditional’ Catholic in that he‘s in line with that last 6 or so popes on the big things—poverty bad, capitalism bad, nationalism bad, etc. But the ‘tradcaths’ are in line with evangelicals—poverty good, capitalism good, nationalism good.

I disagree with this because he keeps talking about how he wishes his wife was Christian. Not Catholic. Christian. Catholics don't spend a lot of time calling people Christian. It's his evangelicalism peeping through.
