We Must Not Posthumously Sanitize Charlie Kirk's Hateful Life Influential anti-LGBTQ+ activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday. While condemning violence is something most can get behind, sanitization of his hate has gone too far.

There has been a rush among centrists like Gavin Newsom and Ezra Klein to brush over the hateful life of Charlie Kirk and valorize the man.

Let me be clear, killing Charlie Kirk was wrong and abhorrent.

I think the really important thing about the "trans sports debate" is that it's NOT REAL, the things that people are fearmongering about are NOT REAL and are NOT HAPPENING. Cis women are not competing at a disadvantage against trans women, cis men aren't transitioning to win at sports, IT'S NOT REAL

If that’s true, then where’s the evidence? If trans women are stronger, why don’t we see them in competition winning everything? They aren’t.

If we want to be fair, why not eliminate anyone with a biological advantage? Should we strip Michael Phelps of his medals because he has a bigger wingspan?

Shirley, research has shown that transgender women have no physical advantages over other women. When they start gender affirming care, they take testosterone blockers and estrogen injections. This mostly eliminates any advantages from male puberty.

Do you see a lot of professional trans women in women’s sports?

To date, not a single trans woman from the US has competed in the Olympics.

In the NCAA, there were only 10 trans athletes before they were banned from competition.

There’s no mention of banning transgender men from men’s sports. Further proof that this is about misogyny and fear-mongering.

It’s a good day to remember what we were once capable of, and why it’s a really bad idea to abandon science.

There is still a big emphasis on cursive writing in Montessori schools. My daughter is in one and next year, when she moves up to 4th grade, she is required to write everything in cursive.
