A lot of “it’s my birthday”, “suicidal survival” & “transparency” rhetoric is very shielding from criticism or any further investigation from journalists to actually uncover that the game got auto-rejected by GOG due to the same things that Steam found.

And that Steam email reads as a fake.

Been seeing the rounds for this game & not a single person has commented that the developer quickly silences critics, uses fan assets that are non-commercial use from Nier: Automata, AI assets & selling different versions of the game on different platforms (Steam requires feature complete).

They posted it not too long ago. It's probably low enough to run it moderately on a Steam Deck.

Absolutely fair. There’s a lot of deterrents for the games right now with both the Enigma DRM & the lack of achievements being the most criticized aspects thus far.

@neckbear.bsky.social I got the Rebirth Classic files to work on Dino Crisis as they’re the exact same files as in the GOG release. I even managed to get the HQ audio & movie mods working flawlessly.

Sure, I’ll give it a shot. Will report back with my findings.

I don't want to hear that CAPCOM is just remaking their back catalogue when they're trying to see if the people who say that they want the older games as is aren't buying.

They're $4.99 each, freshly shadowdropped. Hope this leads them to release the classic Resident Evil games to a wider audience.
