Very true. Also, one more thing to consider is that Mo is well-settled here in the UK. In his last contract extension, there were reports that Mo was happy to stay because his family didn't want to move. So, finding out he's getting sold in January would put him under a lot of stress.

And he would have had a choice of all Saudi clubs, and not only that, I am sure some European clubs would have been interested too.

If that was the case, then why would he sign a new contract in the first place when he was going to be a free agent and could have gotten what he wanted?
