From October 1st (Wed) to October 7th (Tue), for 7 days, approximately 40 people gathered in Tsukigase, Nara Prefecture, to participate in "kuu village," an experiment in communal living using off-grid and decentralized tools, based on the themes of "autonomy, collaboration, and circularity."

Our team passed the first round of judging at the Tokyo Governor's Cup Open Data Hackathon 2025, which had 1,327 entries from 132 teams, and were selected as one of the 24 teams to advance to the Final Stage.

We shared the knowledge gained from continuing to develop a project that originated at a hackathon for over a year, and conducted mentoring for the participants' projects in a workshop format.

I participated in the Plurality Tokyo "Plurality Book Japanese Edition" publication commemoration event held in the 8th floor hall of Keio University Mita Campus!
This time, the attendees were friends from the Namerakaigi (the "Smooth Society and Its Enemies" readers' community) and volunteer staff.

We meet about once a month to test play an open source software development experience game “Open StarTer Village”.
The board game itself is open source, we are working with volunteers to create a Japanese localized version, and we hope to have a playable prototype package by the end of the year.
