Holding government officials of all positions accountable
Stop allowing misinformation to be taught in schools as fact
Eliminate the electoral college
Stop redlining
Outlaw gerrymandering
Make voter suppression illegal
End the two party stranglehold on US politics

In an effort to express the actual struggle the US is up against in this racist corporate fascist regime let’s review all the things that will need addressing:

Dismantling misinformation networks
Eliminating lobbyist influence
Removing private interests from government affairs

Rulings against Trump and his band of criminals are a literal bandaid on a gaping wound.

If nothing can be enforced against him, he will just continue steamrolling everything to get his way.

Waiting til midterms to hope things will change assumes voting won’t be compromised.

We can’t wait.

In case it isn’t clear where we are:

The Republican Party is dead, and entirely subservient to oligarchs.

The Democratic Party is all but dead from its inability to prevent anything from happening.

The balance of power of government is nonexistent because checks and balances no longer exist.

To further compound that problem, add the tyrannical grip of the two party system on government. It literally guarantees the ability for power grabs like this to be simple, if one side is greedy and heartless enough.

I think this is both the best understanding of our political parties and why the the system has failed so drastically. This isn’t good vs evil, it’s power hungry thugs vs strict adherence to the rules.

One side threw the rule book out decades ago, and the other can’t function without it.

DEI: anything that isn't white, male and loyal to Trump
Monetary waste: money not in our pockets
Firing federal staff: removing the disloyal that could expose our bullshit
Batshit executive orders: create panic and scheme to make things worse

If you’re even remotely confused by the current situation, simply look at the people being targeted, the rhetoric being used, and the lengths they’re willing to go to to control the narrative.

Whether it’s DEI, woke, or other buzzword, minorities are the primary target but everyone suffers.

Is it going to lead to removal from office? Jail time? This would be what, his third impeachment at least?

He’s doing untold damage now. Will impeachment suddenly become effective for sanctioning him? We need to do more or make this act more impactful, otherwise it is perfunctory and pointless.
