Another favorite from this issue of @asimovssfmag.bsky.social: "Perri's Fate" by @rreedsf.bsky.social. I'm a sucker for the sprawling, lovely, epic weirdness of the Great Ship. "Every forest was an epic. Mountains and dark matter clouds were epics, too."

Very much a brief thriller with a fascinating premise (a sentient planet). Calls back to Stanslaw Lem's Solaris. (My rating: 5/5)
09.08.2025 16:00 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Another great story from this issue: "Aftermath" by @williampreston.bsky.social. A gorgeous, haunting inversion of THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES. "I don't think your solution is extraordinary enough." @asimovssfmag.bsky.social
