I put together a starter pack listing all of the comics publishers I could find on here, both large and small. I'll update it as I find more. Also please note, I am not a comics publisher! The creator of a starter pack is always included by default. go.bsky.app/MeKEg5g

A Memory Called Empire sounds intriguing. If you do get to it before me, I'd love to know your thoughts. Political fiction has been compelling me recently lol

There are currently only 22 films streaming on Netflix made before 1980 and not a single one made before 1960, with the oldest film on the platform currently being PSYCHO. I know I’m a broken record but: buy physical media, support your local library, etc etc

I'm actually not looking forward to the mess that'll ensue. Two first drivers will be fighting for that position again-

Completed Arabian Love Poems by Nizar Qabbani. My first with Arabic literature in general. I personally didn't connect at the start but it eventually grabbed me and shook violently -- reminiscing of the naive and consuming devotion of youth, and a love letter to the female body.

Hey there! Yeah, Memoirs of Hadrian's something that grabbed me from the start; it's a lyrical and philosophical masterpiece imo -- I recommend it even if one isn't that invested in Greco-Roman antiquity.

Criminally underrated and I highly recommend! Personally think Colin Firth should've won the Oscar for that role

Tough call bc Llewyn Davis is my life, but I'll mention A Single Man bc it doesn't get talked about enough.
