In souls, enemies usually lose interest in you and stop following you.

In Mina, enemies will follow you for ages, hunting you down.

Don't force people to have to get their bones back if you make it impossible to do so in a rush.

I feel the same way about deck builders that punish you for dying multiple times before getting to a boss.

Its never fun, it doesn't help you get better if you're penalised for not doing well, it just discourages casual players from enjoying your game.

I hate any game that punishes you for being bad at it. Losing all your souls (bones) for not getitng back to where you died is a bad mechanic.

As always my preference is more level clear games like 3D World, Galaxy and Kirby Forgoten Land. But thats a preference for how I like to play these games.

I maybe think Mario Odyssey is stronger? But I need to sit with Bananza more before coming to a real conclusion. But its a great ride.

The post game is so far the most disapointing thing.

You know how exciting it was the first time beating mario odyssey and you unlock the Mushroom Kingdom as a level? Yeah this game seems to have a obvious one of those, but just doens't do it? Kinda supprising.

I've now "beat" Donkey Kong Bananza!

Overall very positive on it. The bosses are mostly a joke, right until the final boss which is a real skill check and I did not have fun fighting at all.

I do think the themeing of mario odyssey will end up being more memorable, but the levels are all neat.

A warning for folks playing Bananza.

Theres a point in the game it gives you a choice between two levels.

NINE levels later, you will be required to use a power from a level you skipped if you didn't do both. So do both.

The game in no way warns you about this, I was just stuck.
