Kumaran Thillainadarajah (D-TME'10) studied engineering at UNB, where he explored nanotechnology under Dr. Felipe Chibante and developed carbon nanotube films for prosthetics.

His research and studies eventually led to SmartSkin, which serves top pharma and beverage companies.

Dr. Mike Kennedy (BScF’03, MScF’06) studied forestry at UNB and was preparing for a typical career. But, inspired by one of his professors, Dr. Van Lantz, Mike pursued the economics of forestry through a master's program — the rest is history.
