Now, I’m much more willing to have some extra long weekdays of getting things done and my reward is a task free weekend. That leaves me available for time with my loved ones, or social activities or doing absolutely nothing.

I looked back at my calendar one day and was irked by how many Saturdays I’d frittered away doing tasks that could reasonably be completed in the week. Hair appointments, especially.

As a 9-5 worker, I really appreciate the stylists and beauticians who offer weekday evening and lunchtime appointments.
